Hi, I’m Adhorika — welcome to AdoreVogue
I started AdoreVogue (adhorika.com) for a simple reason: I was tired of beauty “reviews” that clearly hadn’t tested anything. Glowing 10/10 ratings for every product, no real opinions, no mention of what didn’t work. So I built the resource I always wished I’d had — honest, specific, and genuinely useful.
What we do
We research, compare, and (wherever possible) test beauty and skincare products so you can shop with confidence. Every roundup is built around real buyer questions: Which sunscreen won’t leave a white cast? Which retinol is gentle enough for beginners? Which drugstore foundation actually lasts? We name the downsides as readily as the upsides — because a review that only praises isn’t a review, it’s an ad.
Our promise to you
- Honesty first. We recommend products on merit — never because we were paid to.
- Real research. We dig into ingredients, dermatologist guidance, and thousands of genuine user reviews before we recommend anything.
- Every budget. From $5 drugstore gems to worth-it splurges, there’s something here for you.
- We say the cons. Every product has trade-offs, and we’ll always tell you what they are.
Who’s behind AdoreVogue
I’m Adhorika Khan, a lifelong beauty enthusiast who has spent years (and an embarrassing amount of money) learning what works on different skin types, tones, and hair textures — often by getting it wrong first. I write in plain English, share my own mistakes, and treat you like a friend asking for a real recommendation, not a customer to sell to.
How we keep the lights on
AdoreVogue is free to read because we use affiliate links — if you buy through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That support lets us keep researching and writing. It never changes our opinion of a product. You can read the full details on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
Thanks for being here. Have a question or a product you’d love us to test? Get in touch — I read every message.
